Does It Hold Up?
In 2025, two researchers combined 38 publications that tested a claim that shows up in content advice, that people remember unfinished tasks better than finished ones. Interrupted tasks were recalled at a ratio of 0.99 to finished tasks, and 1.00 would mean no difference at all. This site takes one piece of social media advice per article and goes looking for the study it came from. Each article says what the researchers did, how many people took part, what they found, and which parts of the advice held up. Every study is named and linked so you can read it yourself, and when a finding comes from one small sample, the article says that too.
